If you know the original spa pack or control brand, you can start by looking up the spa heaters that match your brand and then eliminate from there.
2. By Popularity
Most spas use one of the six heater assembles shown here. These include two "universal" heater assemblies that can fit a variety of spas. You may be able to match your heater visually from one of these six, then click on the photo to check the details.

If you want an exact match of your heater assembly and you don't know your pack brand, you can use the diagram below to match the measurements of your heater. All measurements are from the left flange of the assembly to a terminal, a stud, a pressure switch or the thermal well (if present). Please note that these measurements can be +/- 1/16th of an inch.
